Killaloe Sailing Club held a grand opening of their club house and changing rooms on Saturday 22nd April from 4-8pm. North Tipperary Development Company played a role in providing funding for the building of the new facilities. There was a barbeque and other events such as power boat trips. IT was also possible to try your hand at sailing.
Killaloe Sailing Club received LEADER funding for the development of a new clubhouse facility from the Rural Development Programme 2014-2022 National Cooperation Budget through a cooperation project between North Tipperary Development Company and Clare Local Development Company benefiting the wider communities in both Tipperary and Clare in accessing and enjoying the benefits of Lough Derg.
