Progressive Pathways 2024
NTDC were delighted to be part of the very successful Progressive Pathways Fair 2024 that took place in Talbot Hotel in Clonmel on Thursday November 7th.
Tipperary Progressive Pathways Fair was an information fair on the progression routes to further education, training and employment options for young people aged over 16 years with additional support needs is being hosted by a number of the Tipperary Children and Young People’s Services Committee (CYPSC) member organisations.
Organisers
The agencies involved in organising this event included North Tipperary Development Company, South Tipperary Development Company, Tipperary Employability, Knockanrawley Resource Centre Ability Programme, Youth Work Ireland Tipperary Ability Programme, Department Social Protection, HSE Occupational Guidance Team, Tipperary ETB, Tusla and Tipperary County Council.
There were over 30 stands on the day, providing information on the various pathways to further education, training, employment, and day service options such as third level access officers from TUS and MIC, TETB apprenticeship programmes, Tipperary Employability, Ability Programmes from Youth Work Ireland Tipperary and Knockanrawley Resource Centre, Department of Social Protection, Social Prescribing, Teagasc, agriculture colleges, National Learning Network, Local Link, Jigsaw, Citizens Information Service, among many others.
