NTDC have 2 Full-Day Care Childcare services in Roscrea.
Little learners is opened from 7.45am to 6pm and cater for children aged 6months to 5 yrs. First Steps is opened from 7.50am-5.30pm and offer care for children aged 2yrs 8 months -12yrs.

We are pleased to support families by availing of all government-funded childcare schemes, including the National Childcare Scheme (NCS), Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Community Childcare Subvention Plus (CCSP), and Community Childcare Subvention Universal (CCSU). These schemes help make quality childcare more accessible and affordable.
- National Childcare Scheme (NCS): This scheme provides financial support to parents based on their income or the number of hours they work. It offers both Universal and Income-Assessed subsidies, which can significantly reduce childcare costs for eligible families.
- Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE): We participate in the ECCE program, providing two years of free preschool education to children aged 2 years and 8 months up to 5 years old. This scheme ensures your child receives early education in a fun, play-based learning environment at no cost.
- Community Childcare Subvention Plus (CCSP): This scheme provides reduced childcare costs to low-income families, parents on certain social welfare payments, and other qualifying groups. Families enrolled in this scheme can avail of substantial savings on their childcare fees.
- Community Childcare Subvention Universal (CCSU): Available to all families with children aged 6 months to 36 months, CCSU offers a non-means-tested subsidy to help lower the cost of full-day or part-time care.
