Tipperary LCDC is Seeking Applications from the Public for Membership of their LEADER Independent Evaluation Committees
Tipperary Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is delivering the Rural Development Programme (LEADER) 2023-2027 in Tipperary in partnership with Tipperary County Council, South Tipperary Development Company and North Tipperary Development Company. Independent Evaluation Committees (IEC) will be established to assess and evaluate all project proposals for RDP funding. We are now seeking applications for membership of the IECs, one for North Tipperary and one for South Tipperary.
IEC membership will be made up from the following topic areas for each
Economic Development & Job Creation –2 members per IEC with expertise in Enterprise Development and Innovation including some of the following; Social Enterprise, Green Economy, Food Business Development, Agricultural Diversification etc
Rural Infrastructure & Social Inclusion –2 members per IEC with expertise in some of the following; Social Inclusion and Community Development, Sustainable Regeneration of Towns and Villages etc.
Sustainable Development of Rural Environment & Climate Change – 3 members per IEC with expertise in some of the following; Protection and Improvement of Local Biodiversity, Sustainable use of Water Resources, Development of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation, Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation
