SICAP supported this group with a small grant to provide local supplies to volunteers and people in the community. Coronavirus Community Assistance North Tipperary is a fully volunteer led community group that has been set up to offer help to people in the Nenagh/North Tipp area in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak. It is a direct response to supporting the most vulnerable people in our communities. It supports people unable to get to the shops or town, people that have to self-isolate, are immunocompromised , the elderly or living alone who may require assistance and this group will be available to help them get the supplies they need.
SICAP were delighted to be able to support this local community group with shop local, support local, and stay local initiative.
