Tipperary Children and Young Persons Services have announced that Silver Arch Family Resource Centre, Nenagh, are to fund applications on behalf of families. The purpose of the funding is to purchase basic household items, such as food, baby care products, as well as other necessities required by families. An application form has been provided here: Application form for CYPSC BOBF funding and completed forms are to be sent to Silver Arch Family Resource Centre in relation to families resident in the North of the county, and to Barnardos, in relation to families resident in the South of the county.
Please note that the criteria for approval of any application are that:
- The funding goes to meet needs of vulnerable children, young people and their families which arise directly from Covid-19-related conditions.
- There is no unnecessary duplication of funding: for instance, if an applicant already has access to another funding stream to which it may be more appropriate to refer to.
Also note that application forms must be completed and submitted by staff member of an agency and not by a family member. NTDC can help support an application form through our Family Support Services. Please contact our Roscrea Office for more information.
CYPSC would like to express thanks to Silver Arch Family Resource Centre and Barnardos for agreeing to host the budget for this programme for the second year.
